Originally from Scotland, Sophie graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2020 before beginning her career in the NHS. There, she gained experience across orthopaedics, respiratory and acute medical wards, while also working as a pitch-side physiotherapist for a local rugby team. These roles helped shape her clinical skills and reinforced the value of working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
After moving to Australia in 2022, Sophie transitioned into private practice. She enjoys working collaboratively with her patients, taking a holistic approach to help them better understand their bodies and achieve their individual goals. It was during this time that her passion for pelvic health developed, after experiencing that conditions are often misunderstood and seeing the positive impact that effective rehabilitation can have.
Passionate about continuing to grow as a clinician, Sophie has completed further education in pelvic health and will begin a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2027. She is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and clinical skills to provide the highest standard of care for people with pelvic health conditions.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find Sophie exploring the outdoors, spending time at the beach or playing tennis with friends.
