Prenatal Pelvic Floor, Core and More
Our Prenatal pelvic floor, core and more classes are designed to enable women to exercise safely throughout their pregnancy. We focus on key muscle groups that support the way your body changes through each trimester, including the pelvic floor, gluteals and back muscles. Our Physiotherapists are highly educated in understanding the demands on the pregnant body and are skilled to adapt all exercises to your fitness level, individual goals and stage of pregnancy.
Class Format: Hybrid
Prenatal pelvic floor, core and more runs for 60 minutes at our Bondi Junction studio or you can attend via ZOOM. We include a combination of upper and lower body strengthening, mobility sequences, postural awareness, core and pelvic floor strengthening with some low-moderate intensity cardiovascular exercise. They are suitable for beginners through to advanced exercisers and our skilled teachers will make appropriate modifications for all levels and stages of pregnancy and conditions such as pregnancy pelvic girdle pain.

Who are the Prenatal Pelvic Floor, Core and More Classes For?
They are suitable for any pregnant woman, up until their due date. We can modify the exercises for any musculoskeletal pain, such as pelvic girdle pain, lower back pain or pubic bone pain, we also include pelvic floor muscle training in both functional and static postures. Our prenatal classes will help you stay on top of the postural and biomechanical demands that pregnancy places on the body, through targeted strengthening and mobility exercises and education. Our classes also have a strong focus on education, empowering you with the knowledge and skills you need to thrive in your pregnancy.

How Do I Book My Spot?
Please book a Pregnancy Assessment to address any underlying injuries or concerns you may have about exercising whilst pregnant. It is important we know your history, exercise capabilities and specific goals so that your Physiotherapist can recommend a tailored exercise plan to address your needs. Health Fund Rebates
Our classes are eligible for Private Health Insurance rebates for Clients that have attended a Physio appointment first. Rebates are dependent on your individual fund and level of cover. Please check with your fund prior to booking to avoid disappointment. If you are covered, the class is billed under code 595.
