Louise started her physiotherapy journey as a dedicated musculoskeletal physio, working at Sydney Pelvic Clinic. Her experience as a physio at SPC has given her a passion for pelvic physiotherapy and prompted her to complete studies in pelvic health. Prior to her Physiotherapy Master’s, she completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science which gave her a strong grounding and enthusiasm for exercise therapy across all age groups. Throughout her studies she taught Pilates to both clinical and general populations and is passionate about the benefits exercise has, not just for helping with injury rehabilitation, but for improving general health and quality of life.
Growing up in the country, she loved playing team sports and spent most of her time outdoors, this was what drove her to work in an industry with a strong focus on physical activity. After various injuries sustained during her time playing hockey, she worked with physiotherapists to get back to playing fitness. These experiences are what first gave her the idea that physiotherapy would be a career she would love, and she has not looked back.
Louise’s passion lies in exercise therapy, musculoskeletal conditions and pelvic floor injuries, she also loves to educate patients to empower them in their recovery journey.
