Amy Richardson is a dedicated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with experience across women’s, men’s, and children’s pelvic health. Originally from Scotland, Amy completed her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy before relocating to New Zealand, where she worked in both private practice and hospital settings. During this time, she also became a certified Reformer Pilates instructor, specialising in pre- and post-natal care, which inspired her passion for pelvic health.
Now based in Sydney, Amy has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy with the University of Melbourne and is undertaking further training in pessary management through the University of South Australia. She is skilled in pessary fitting and is committed to providing evidence-based, holistic care to support patients in managing bladder, bowel, sexual, and pelvic pain conditions.
Amy works with patients of all ages, including children experiencing pelvic health concerns, and values creating a supportive environment where individuals feel heard and empowered in their recovery. She has a special interest working with patients who experience persistent pelvic or sexual pain.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys staying active outdoors and is often found by the beach with a coffee and pastry in hand.
