Pelvic Floor Release workshop
Our Pelvic Floor Release workshop is a unique 90-minute session that dives into pelvic awareness and nervous system regulation, with the goal of creating wellness and ease in body, mind and pelvis.
Combining knowledge from pelvic physiotherapy, mind-body practises and a biopsychosocial approach to pain management, our Pelvic Floor Release workshops are a must for those seeking ways to address the multidimensional aspects of pelvic tension and its symptoms.
Class Format
The workshop runs as a hybrid session and can be physically attended at our Bondi Junction studio, or virtually from home. We have up to 10 participants in studio, where you are set up on a comfy mat, with a blanket and yoga props. The workshop includes gentle and safe movements and breathing practices, supported postures, mindfulness and deep relaxation to calm the body and the mind.
A key theme of the workshop is unwinding the stress response and its impact on body/pelvic tension and building flexibility within the nervous system. Mindfulness principles working with pain sensation will also be explored, and will help soften the nervous system’s sensitivity to pain. We are able to make modifications throughout the session, to ensure you are comfortable and are able to achieve deep rest.
Who is this for?
This workshop is suitable for people of all ages and genders who experience muscle tension in the pelvis or pelvic floor, which can be a driver of:
- Persistent pelvic pain
- Bladder pain
- Bowel dysfunction
- Sexual health dysfunction
- Lower back pain
- Hip and groin pain
- Jaw pain
It is also an excellent workshop for those with high stress levels, looking to learn ways to unwind tension in body and mind.

Participants will also receive resources to support practice at home.
Who is the Pregnancy and Birth Skills Workshop for?
The Pregnancy and Birth Skills workshop is suitable for pregnant women during the second and third trimesters. We find it especially helpful from 28 weeks onwards when you are starting to shift your focus and preparation towards birth. It is run as a women-only group, birth partners are not included in the workshop. All resources received can be shared with your birth partner.
