Sally A’Beckett APAM

Physiotherapist

Sally graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Sydney in 1998. Since graduating she has worked in both the public and private sectors where she has gained considerable experience in managing a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological and sporting injuries as well as numerous Women’s and Men’s health conditions.

In 2007 Sally completed the Polestar Pilates Rehab series training and has since worked extensively with Pilates taking both classes and individual sessions with mat and equipment.

Whilst living in Melbourne she completed post graduate studies at University of Melbourne in Pelvic floor rehabilitation (where she met fellow student Ange in 2008!). During this time, she worked at a specialist pelvic floor clinic in Malvern.

Sally has a keen interest in exercise rehabilitation and education. She is passionate about treating the body as a whole, addressing any underlying dysfunctions, not just immediate symptoms. She has extensive experience taking exercise classes with all populations in all forms: Pilates, swiss ball specific, aquatic, including pre and post-natal and the elderly. She has a strong belief in combining management with education, helping to empower clients to manage their own bodies.

In her spare time she likes to get into wide, open spaces, travel and camp (domestically), play tennis, sail, run (marathon 2009, not since), visit family on farms.. and she’s thinking involvement with women’s cricket in the future could be great!
