Ciara Dobbin is a dedicated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over five years of postgraduate physiotherapy experience, including more than two years in pelvic health physiotherapy. Originally from Northern Ireland, Ciara completed a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy before undertaking a Master’s in Sports Rehabilitation and Performance.
With a strong background in both musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy, Ciara takes a holistic, individualised approach, combining evidence-based treatment with care tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle. She is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, including pregnancy, the postnatal period, menopause, and post-menopause. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of pelvic health conditions, including bladder and bowel dysfunction and pelvic pain, with a particular interest in conservative prolapse management.
Ciara is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment where patients feel listened to, supported, and confident throughout their recovery journey. She values collaborative care and believes education plays an important role in helping women better understand their bodies and recovery. This is reflected in her invitations to speak at women’s wellness events, where she delivers educational sessions focused on pelvic health and wellbeing.
Alongside her pelvic health work, Ciara has a strong passion for movement and exercise rehabilitation. She is a qualified APPI Matwork Pilates Instructor and enjoys leading physiotherapist-led Pilates sessions that help patients build strength, confidence, and long-term function. She particularly enjoys supporting women to return to exercise, sport, and the activities they love.
In addition to her clinical practice, Ciara has worked with semi-professional and international female soccer teams competing at European qualifying level, further strengthening her interest in female athlete health and performance.
