Pelvic Pain Q&A
In this video, Angela James answers questions on pelvic pain:
Pelvic Pain in Australia
Pelvic pain is a silent epidemic affecting many of our men and women. The symptoms are a mix of pain anywhere from the tailbone, rectum, perineum or the genitals. It can affect bladder, bowel or sexual function and sometimes all of them. It can’t be diagnosed with blood tests, scans and often doesn’t respond to medications. Patients often wait for years before a diagnosis and effective management. Pelvic physiotherapy is at the heart of effective management of pelvic pain for men and women.

Pelvic Pain Facts:
1 in 12 men suffer with pelvic pain (Ferris et al 2009)
1 in 5 women (Zondervan & Barlow 2000)
